Brief history

Romania and the Kingdom of Thailand established diplomatic diplomatic relations at Embassy level at 1 June 1973.

The bilateral relations are in good shape, continuously taking into account the roles Romania and Thailand play in their respective regions as well as their potential for the further development of the bilateral cooperation in various fields such as trade and economic cooperation, cultural and educational exchanges, justice affairs, agriculture and tourism.
